Access to and from the Temecula Parkway Interchange is closed due to emergency gas line repairs. Duration of repairs is not known. I-15 is open in both directions. Local traffic is being diverted to the Rancho California Road Interchange. Please be patient and use alternative routes this morning.
Update 10:00 AM – Traffic control is being set-up to allow 1 lane in each direction on Temecula Parkway through the area (between La Paz & Old Town Front Street). The travel lanes will both be on the south side of the road, this will prevent left turn access to the freeway onramps. Westbound Temecula Parkway will not be able to access SB I-15. Eastbound Temecula Parkway will not be able to access NB I-15.
Once the traffic control on the surface streets is set up, the on and off ramps will be re-opened and the traffic signals returned to normal operation. It is anticipated traffic will allowed through the work zone as described by 11:00AM.
Update 4:15 PM – The gas leak has been repaired, the roadway restored, and reopened to vehicular traffic. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
